Online Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills Training

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a highly-effective, evidence-based therapy designed to treat borderline personality disorder (emotion regulation disorder), self-injury, depression, addictions, self-sabotaging behaviors.

DBT was developed by University of Washington professor Marsha Linehan, PhD and you can read more about her personal struggle with mental illness here. Dr. Linehan has described DBT not as a suicide prevention program but a treatment that helps people who are suffering from challenging emotions and self-sabotaging behaviors create their own “life worth living.”

The heart of DBT is skills training as described in Linehan’s book Skills Training Manual for Borderline Personality Disorder.

DBT is for family members, too!
If your loved one is taking part in a DBT program, you may also want to learn more about this important treatment.

About 25% of My Dialectical Life subscribers are parents, spouses, or other family members. I strongly believe that DBT is for everyone.

So how does it work?
For just $25 a month, you’ll receive a daily e-mail that consists of:
