Coping with Chronic Suicidal Thinking and Planning: Success Strategies for Providers, Family Members, and Individuals Who Are Suffering

This one-hour webinar will take place via Zoom on Saturday, May 18 at 10:00 am Central. (Live in another time zone? You can convert the webinar time using this web site.) The cost is $29 and current subscribers to My Dialectical Life or My Hopeful Life can join for free.

This webinar is for anyone who cares about someone who suffers from chronic suicidal thinking or planning—including graduate students, licensed healthcare providers, family members, friends, and individuals who experience suicidal thinking.

The webinar will be recorded for individuals who register but are unable to attend live.

Over the hour, we will discuss:

• protective factors that help keep people alive
• evidence-based treatment designed for suicide prevention
• the pros and cons of hospitalization
• practical steps to help someone you love
• practical steps to help yourself cope better with suicidal thinking

There will also be an opportunity for you to ask questions during the live webinar.

Graduate students and licensed health care professionals who participate in the live webinar will receive a certificate of attendance upon request. A certificate of attendance will not be issued for individuals who do not attend the live webinar for the full hour.
